DREAMING AUSTRALIA CD by Jason Freddi
Full length album of 9 songs including the single 'Water to Drink' and Jason Freddi renderings of the Australian classics, 'Solid Rock', 'Waltzing Matilda' and John WIlliamson's ode to the wandering bushman, 'A Bushman Can't Survive on City Lights.
Inspired by his travels in Central Australia, Freddi takes you to the heart of the country, of 'deserts and inspectors', where your 'daydreams are just out of sight'. Where the swamp rock of 'Convict's Lament' meets the reggae country of 'West Arrernte Rainsong'. These songs explore contemporary Australia, from the 'dust bowl wheat' and water wars of 'Water to Drink', to the ironic folk of 'I Support Coal Mining' where Freddi sings, 'All My Friends are Gone'.
Musical production by multi-instrumentalist Isaac Barter. And with stunning images of Jason at the BONNET SERIES and in front of the new Parliament House, Canberra, makes this CD package an object to be desired.
